CONTROLLERS FAQ
What is the default IP address, username, and password?
192.168.1.1 user = root password = root
Why can't I access the controller?
Make sure that the managing computer has an IP address that is in the same subnet
as the AP. For example, the computer should have an address of 192.168.1.x/24
if the AP has the default settings.
Where can I download the latest firmware?
http://www.valuepointnet.com/support/downloads.html
How do I setup port forwarding?
Go to the Access Point Monitor tab under the
Management Menu. Enter the IP address of the device, MAC address, and
Management port. The management port will be port 80 on our access
points if you want to connect to the web configuration page. The
controller port will be the virtual port that you will point to when you
are remotely managing the device. Start at 60001 if you are using
multiple devices on port 80. Set the protocol, and the connection. Now
to login to the AP enter the full WAN IP address of the controller with
the port. For example, you would enter http://x.x.x.x:60001.
